This one-hour session will provide updated information on transitioning services to the use of telehealth in response to COVID-19 social distancing and other emerging guidelines. The presenter will discuss how telehealth can be used to provide services while minimizing exposure for both the health care worker and the patients/clients who are at high risk for infection. As the state and local governments rapidly make changes during this unprecedented public health emergency, critical substance use and mental health treatment providers must understand the practice of telehealth in the treatment setting and in delivering medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services.

Who should attend?

This workshop is designed for medical staff, clinicians, clinical supervisors, program managers, prevention and wellness staff, public health practitioners, community coalitions, criminal justice staff, MAT and OTP providers, substance use providers and behavioral health professionals.
