Prescriber Peer Mentors are experts in addiction and Medication-Assisted Treatment. In this workshop, they will present the most current evidence-based information on working with Special Populations including pregnant and post-partum women. Corollary communicable diseases including HIV and Hepatitis are associated with individuals who are in treatment for Opioid Use Disorder, for which screening and referrals are essential.

Who should attend? This webinar is designed for medical staff, clinicians, clinical supervisors, program managers, prevention and wellness staff, public health practitioners, community coalitions, and criminal justice staff.

Prescriber Peer Mentors deliver specialized training to providers working to offer Medication-Assisted Treatment to people recovering from Opioid Use Disorder. Peer Mentor trainers support treatment team members in working together to build a whole-person approach to recovery.
