Adverse Childhood Experiences

This advanced skills webinar is designed to promote further understanding of how Adverse Childhood Experiences impact neurological development and health risk. This webinar is intended to provide skills for implementing early childhood interventions to reduce these risks and impacts on neurological functioning. This webinar will also provide best therapeutic practices to use with adults.

Who should attend?

This advanced skills webinar is designed for clinicians, clinical supervisors, program managers, recovery coaches, recovery support, peer specialists, behavioral health practitioners, counselors, executives in substance abuse and mental health agencies, Managing Entities, and DCF program staff.

Presented by:

Melitta Basa, MA, EMDR, LCDC, LPC, is the director of clinical services at Greenhouse Treatment Center in Grand Prairie, TX. She has a strong background working in addiction, behavioral health, and family and marriage therapy. In her role, she is responsible for more than a dozen clinicians as well as all clinical decisions across disciplines while maintaining adherence to standards set by CARF International.
