Behavioral Tele-Health can assist with the expansion of services and improve client outcomes. It is essential to ensure professionals providing services via videoconferencing obtain comprehensive, specific training and supervision to offer the best quality of care. Our field is changing and implementing mediums which can break down barriers and reach consumers who otherwise may not have access is vital.  This presentation will address specific safety protocol, clinical application as well as laws and ethics related to counseling via video conferencing.

Dianne Clarke PhD, CAP

Dianne Clarke has more than 35 years of experience in the field of substance abuse, mental health and child welfare.  As one of the original individuals to be certified as an Addiction Professional in Florida, Dr. Clarke has  experience in all phases of substance abuse treatment ; detoxification , long term residential treatment and all levels of outpatient treatment to include medication assisted treatment.  Dr. Clarke is also one of the first individuals certified by the Florida Certification Board as an E-Therapist.  She has developed and trained the certification course for Behavioral TeleHealth and has been the project director for a Technology Assisted Care SAMHSA Grant and Center for Substance Abuse Treatment SAMHSA Grant focusing on technology expansion in substance use disorder treatment. 

Sandnes S. Boulanger, MSW, LCSW, MCAP, CET  
Vice President of Clinical Services for Operation PAR, Inc.

Sandnes S. Boulander serves as Operation PAR’s Vice President of Clinical Services providing clinical oversight to: Adult and Adolescent Outpatient Services, Village Women’s Pregnant and Post-Partum Residential, LC Men’s Residential, and Access Center Care Coordination.   She provides clinical supervision for Mental Health and Social Work students, counselors earning hours towards state licensure or addiction certification as well as facilitating on-line Behavioral Tele-Health training.
