Target Audience: Providers participating in the STR/SOR grants and those wanting to learn more about how to effectively treat opioid use disorders are invited to participate.

Objective: To share successful strategies to effectively screen individuals with an opioid use disorder, engage and retain patients in treatment, effectively utilize MAT medications, and assist the transition of patients into recovery.

Selected Topics to Be Covered:

·         What we have learned to date – results of STR initiatives

·         Funding overview

·         Effective use of MAT medications

·         Maximizing the use of buprenorphine

·         Roadblocks to treatment retention

·        Overdose prevention and naloxone distribution

·         Strategies for engaging and retaining patients in treatment

·         Maximizing peers to support recovery and wellness

·         Harm/disease reduction

·         Defining success

 

Registration: Registration is limited to 100 participants. Please limit your company’s registration to two (2) individuals. Wait List: If the event reaches maximum capacity your registration will be added to the wait list. You will be contacted if a spot opens up.

 

CEUs Offered: Up to six (6) Continuing Education Units/Contact Hours are provided at no cost for individuals meeting the attendance requirements.
