By engaging the family in the service delivery planning process we can enhance the success of adolescents and children receiving care, and their families. The paradigm shift of viewing the entire family as active partners in treatment has had a positive impact on clinical work in communities across the U.S. With this shift, families are beginning to feel empowered as they engage in all levels of their children’s care. With Family Driven care we partner with families and put them in the driver’s seat. By doing so we can achieve positive outcomes, improve engagement in services, and remove stigma surrounding care. This webinar will review the transition from the traditional model of care to a family-focused approach, why this transition is necessary, and steps you can take to shift to a more collaborative relationship with families as they learn to guide their own care.

Who should attend?
This webinar is designed for clinicians, clinical supervisors, program managers, prevention agencies, community coalitions and executives in substance abuse and mental health agencies, Managing Entities and DCF program staff.
