"Think About It" Substance Abuse Prevention Media Campaign

Hopefully you've heard the statewide media campaign has started! The Office of Drug Control and the Florida Department of Children and Families have partnered with Clear Channel Florida to implement a substance abuse prevention media campaign titled “Think About It.” The campaign spans the entire state and focuses on reaching teens and adults with powerful anti-drug prevention messages. The campaign includes radio commercials, billboards and Internet exposure (see the list of locations and stations). The goal is to prevent substance use in adolescents, while also encouraging parents to learn more about communicating with their children. The commercials, billboards and websites are all branded with the “Think About It” message, encouraging teens to really think about the consequences of substance use!
