Statewide Meeting Alert

What: One-day STAR and STAR-FIS Summer Learning Session
When: Monday, June 7, 2010, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EDT
Where: Jacksonville, Florida, Holiday Inn – Baymeadows

The purpose of the STAR and STAR-FIS Summer Learning Session is to celebrate process improvement success among the Florida STAR participants. During the Learning Session, STARs will be able to share their success stories regarding process improvement initiatives and change projects that were conducted do to their training in rapid cycle change. Change Teams will also be able to showcase their successes on their agency storyboards. Please confirm your attendance with Ximena Smith: Ximena_Smith@dcf.state.fl.us.

There will also be a Peer Mentor training for invited STAR participants interested in becoming peer mentors.


One-day Regional Training for FIS and FIS Supervisors

What: Two One-Day Trainings on the Family Intervention Specialist (FIS)/Change Team Process
When: Wednesday, May 5 and Tuesday May 11, 2010, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Where: Tallahassee, FL - May 5
  Gainesville, FL - May 11

These regional trainings are an opportunity to learn face to face from Kevin Lewis and Becky Razaire, FIS Peer Leaders, how change teams work. Attendees only need to attend one training session during this phase of training.
