Medicaid's Top Findings from Community Behavioral Health Services Provider On-Site Reviews

Event Description: Medicaid transformation is a key element in the process of healthcare reform. In Florida, the recently enacted Medicaid legislation requiring all beneficiaries to enroll in managed care plans could have significant implications for how mental health care services in general and substance abuse services in particular are delivered. Florida Medicaid enrollment is projected to expand by as much as seventy percent (70%) by the year 2014. Fifty one percent (51%) or providers responding to a 2011 Medicaid survey from the Department of Children and Families reported that they needed assistance with Medicaid billing, documentation and enrollment. During this webinar, the presenter will share the top review findings of major non-compliance issues with Medicaid from community behavioral health site reviews. Participants will be given key Medicaid policy reminders and learn how to increase their compliance with Medicaid policies.
