FADAA Resource Center
The FADAA Resource Center was established to disseminate information on alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and related topics such as violence prevention, special populations and management. Our primary focus is to meet the alcohol, tobacco and other drug information needs of Florida citizens.
The Resource Center is part of the Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Network. This network is a national and international system designed by the federal Center for Substance Abuse Prevention to promote wide distribution of ATOD prevention information.
Benchmarking Initiative
Benchmarking provides the metrics to measure an individual agency’s performance against the benchmark set by Florida providers. Affordable and readily accessible benchmark data specifically targeted to the needs of community-based addiction treatment programs currently does not exist. The Benchmarking for Organizational Excellence in Addiction Treatment Initiative will make a broad range of relevant and timely benchmark data available.
Document Storage and Retrieval
ChronoSolutions Technology Consulting, Inc. is registering and training agencies ready to participate in the monitoring efficiency imaging software, DocVault. This electronic document storage and retrieval system was endorsed by FADAA. The software allows providers to post core documents (annual audit, board of directors, by-laws, policies and procedures, etc.) to a document vault. DocVault is currently used by many child welfare lead agencies and providers and the Florida Department of Children and Families for administrative contract management, oversight and monitoring.
