Associate Member Benefits
Qualifications:
Any organization not licensed to provide alcohol and drug abuse services, and concerned with alcohol and drug abuse rehabilitation treatment, intervention, education, and prevention services is eligible for Associate membership. The Associate Agency member shall be eligible for all membership benefits, with the exception of a position on the Board of Directors. Our membership year is July 1 through June 30.
IMPACT PUBLIC POLICY:
FADAA staff advocates on your behalf year round with the Legislature; the Departments of Health and Rehabilitative Services, Education, Corrections, and Juvenile Justice; and the Agency for Health Care Administration shaping policy that affects your service delivery and bottom line. You will receive weekly updates during the Legislative Session, as well as periodic federal updates.
RECEIVE INSIDE INFORMATION:
You will receive late-breaking updates with FADAA's Insider on policies, events, critical meetings, and people affecting the substance abuse field so that you can make informed decisions in the management of your programs.
SECURE FUNDING FOR YOUR PROGRAM:
FADAA’s Insider also provides information to agency members on the latest federal, state, and private funding opportunities.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING:
Improve your professional skills and meet licensure and certification requirements. Take advantage of FADAA’s affordable, state-of-the-art training at convenient locations throughout the state, as well as homestudy web-based training products developed for addictions professionals on the move.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE DISCOUNTS:
If your agency registers and pays for your staff members’ Annual Conference registrations, they receive the discounted rate.
HOMESTUDY/ DISCOUNTS:
Homestudy courses purchased by your agency for your staff members’ use are discounted.
RECEIVE OTHER SUBSTANTIAL DISCOUNTS:
FADAA members receive discounts on rates to post job vacancies on FADAA’s website. They also receive discounts on exhibit fees at FADAA's Annual Conference and advertisements.
EXPAND YOUR RESOURCES:
Receive pamphlets, fact sheets, videos, and posters from FADAA's nationally renowned Resource Center. Topics include alcohol, tobacco, drugs, AIDS, prevention, treatment, quality management, relapse prevention, and culturally diverse populations.
SHAPE POLICY:
As an associate member your are eligible to participate in FADAA committees and workgroups, which cover such issues as prevention, legislative, criminal justice, and professional development, to name a few.
