7. HOMESTUDY: When you can't be in the classroom, we can bring the classroom to you! FADAA offers a variety of homestudy courses for addictions professionals. Courses are available for professionals in the prevention, counseling, addiction, and criminal justice fields of substance abuse. You review the materials at your own pace, making this a convenient, money-saving way to enhance your skills and increase your effectiveness. In addition, you earn continuing education credits after successfully passing any accompanying test package, with a minimum score of 80%. FADAA members receive discounts on homestudy courses.



8. RECOGNITION FROM THE FIELD: Every year, FADAA membership selects and honors 13 individuals through a statewide awards program. The Professionals and Volunteer of the Year Awards are based on the exceptional accomplishments and practices in the field of substance abuse by the nominee.
