Background: The Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association (FADAA) in partnership with the Florida Juvenile Justice Association (FJJA), are inviting you to sponsor, exhibit, or advertise at The 2010 Adolescent Conference, On the Threshold: Moving Forward Together. The conference will be held February 22-24, 2010, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This year’s conference will integrate plenary sessions and workshops together with exhibits and networking opportunities to provide attendees with the opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills, and to improve adolescent services. The conference offers the opportunity to share and showcase proven prevention, intervention and treatment practices, disseminate knowledge into practice and discuss implementation of effective strategies.
Attendees: We anticipate over 250 professionals from Florida and adjacent states to participate in this year’s conference! The audience will be made up primarily of agency executives, program directors, managers, supervisors, clinicians, and providers of adolescent prevention, intervention and treatment services, as well as policy-makers and other stakeholders in adolescent services.
Hotel Information: Hotel reservations with Disney’s Contemporary Resort must be made on or before Friday, January 29, 2010 in order to receive the special rate available to conference participants of $125 single/double occupancy, plus applicable taxes. After that date, rooms will no longer be available at the special rate. Make your reservations directly with the hotel 407-824-3869; refer to the Adolescent Conference to ensure you receive the special rate. In order not to be charged tax, employees of tax-exempt agencies must supply proof of tax exemption upon check-in and make payment with a company check or credit card.
