Implementation Strategies for Effective Integrated Healthcare

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 – 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST

Implementation matters! Research findings demonstrate significantly greater impact when effective programs are well-implemented. Durlak and DuPre (2008) report that under ideal circumstances when well implemented programs are compared to poorly implemented programs, they are 12 times more likely to produce positive outcomes. Given the importance of implementation, what does your agency need to know?
In this workshop, practitioners, supervisors, and administrators will have an opportunity to learn the key factors necessary for successful implementation of effective behavioral health approaches. Participants will become familiar with effective implementation strategies and tools to ensure improved outcomes for consumers, related to assessing the effectiveness and feasibility of evidence-based interventions, stage-matched development of an implementation infrastructure, ongoing improvement processes, and the development of organized, "expert" implementation support.
